How do you bill for your services?
Our standard billing procedure is to bill straight time. That means we do not bill by the tax form, schedule or by the project completed. We bill by acutal hours spent on your services at various billing rates based on what service we are providing or who is performing the task.
What hours are you available?
Our normal office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm during our non tax season period (May through December). During tax season we increase our available hours to include evenings and weekends. If our normal office hours make it difficult for you we would be happy to make special arrangements to meet with you.
What is your normal process for an individual tax return engagement?
We use a tax organizer for our clients to help accumulate the relevant data and materials we need to prepare a return. We would mail this out to you prior to our meeting to assist you in compiling the relevant details. After meeting with you to review your materials we incorporate your return in our schedule. We contact you with any relevant questions we may have and then finalize your return. We would then meet with you to answer any of your questions on the return itself and get your authorizations for Efiling your return.
